Since it is mainly found in the vacuum distillation bottom, its carbon number is about 30 to 60 with a molecular weight of about 500 to 800. Its melting point is generally higher than paraffin wax. In addition, because it contains isoparaffin and cycloparaffin, which are small in size, microcrystals are formed, which is why it is called microcrystalline wax.
